This is the old aft companion way entrance. This led down into what use to be the galley and saloon area. |

The start of the new deck, holes were cut into the deck so that new ribs could be welded to the existing deck ribs. It was necessary to leave the old deck in place to stop the boat moving about and changing shape. |
