Jongert Transom before and after
Aft end of vessels showing transom bathing platform / dinghy support. The platform had been added later as the original boat left the boatyard when new without it. All the timber trim removed and new steel framework and windows tacked in. Now fully welded. The owner decide to have the old platform removed to allow for a new custom built hydraulic bathing platform. Removal of the old platform uncovered heavy corrosion in the framework of the platform.
